Just sent the third issue to Erik so hopefully it will be in the next update. Issue four will end the opening storyline. Sorry for the delays -- fanfic is very low on my list of things to do at present, but I hope to stick around in some form.
Hope folks are enjoying the series to this point.

I'm new and I'm going to try and get some sort of reviewing roll going. I'm doing the new #1s today New X-Men and Ka-Zar but in the week I'm hoping to read your Infinity watch and X-Force at least through to the most recent. So feedback coming soonish I hope ....the team looks great btw.

Okay a nice overall review of these three issues okay?
You identified that there are similarities between this team and the Guardians but I think there are more differences. The team itself feels different, I don't know whether it's having a different modus operandi and a different mission.
The banter and relationships between the group (even when strained like Carol and Gamora) are good. There is some fun between the earthers and everyone acts quite naturally with one another.
I worry (as said in the other review) that Warlock whilst very powerful might become perfect, the arseish behaviour he has displayed however makes me think you might be building him up as a flawed character though. This would be good.
I'd also agree that a bit more explanation of the action or indepth fight scenes never goes amiss, though I'll say I know how hard it is to do action for a large group...especially in space.
I'm intrigued by this Anti-Warlock and the story on a whole, it's compeling especially that Thanos got taken down. I like the Coati so it'll be fun to see those Halans again.
Looking forward to more.

Thanks. I responded to Brent's reviews over on the mailing list but I'll comment on yours here. I assure you that Adam won't be a perfect character -- far from it, in fact. It is difficult to manage a group of characters -- I always feel I'm favoring certain of them in terms of spotlight, for instance -- but in the future, I plan storylines that will center around each member and I'll try to beef up the action sequences for you.
Thanks again!

I just read Infinity #1-3 (home sick with the flu, the perfect atmosphere to read good fanfic) and have to say four words: This series kicks ass. (possible spoilers, you've been warned!)
I'm a huge Adam Warlock/Infinity Watch fan and loved how Barry nailed the characterizations of each of the characters. Adam is as enigmatic as ever, Gamora as confident and lovelorn as ever and Pip? As drunk as ever. I don't know Carol Danvers and Mantis as well, but Ms. Marvel comes across as the confident superhero Marvel has made her out to be and Mantis is as annoyingly mysterious as I would expect. Nova and the Worldmind as well are handled well here.
Even though we know there's a big bad out there, even though we know what he has done to Thanos, Barry still makes us wonder if we're backing the right horse in Adam Warlock. It's nicely done and a hard thing to accomplish for any writer.
The series starts out with the biggest bang one can imagine, but the hits and character moments continue well into #3. How Barry has managed to make this series so interesting with nary an Infinity Gem in sight is amazing. I am very much looking forward to #4 and hope it can be in our greedy hands sooner rather than later!
6 Infinity Gems out of 6. (Or, 1 Infinity Gauntlet out of 1)
See you on Infinity Station,
Mike

Thanks, Mike. Yeah, with the cast and the title, I figured everyone would think the entire series would revolve around the Infinity Gems, which is why I wanted to deal with that early on and then avoid it for the most part. Obviously, the Soul Gem will continue to get play via Adam but otherwise I have plans to revive the Gauntlet or any of that.
