ICEMAN 2010: Year In Review
(#1) by Tobias Christopher
The Cast: Iceman
Antagonists Faced: The Fly and random telemarketer
Standout Character: Iceman
Best Moment: Iceman going to the house of the random telemarketer with an ice bat in hand
Overall: Tobias writes humor so effortlessly in this issue and it fits Iceman perfectly. It’s not the kind of humor where you feel like there’s no way it can fit into a continuity setting like Deadpool, but it works nonetheless. This issue probably more than any other captures the spirit of acceptance that has hit Marvel Anthology’s X-Men. I really feel like Tobias has the chance to do something special here and even with the humor in mind, still be an important part of the site’s X-Line. He’s showing the positivity that his now present for Xavier’s brood. And the fact that Tobias is delving right into the concept of celebrity really helps. I wonder how long before we see its dark side rear its ugly head and for some reason, I think that’ll happen through Ronny Drake.

Thanks for the review. Sorry it took so long to reply.
As for the dark side of celebrity, yes, that'll be revealed through Ronny's eyes as we go along. Iceman's always been one of my favorite Marvel characters, so I'm glad to be able to write him again.
