First off, this was a really good issue. Now on to the comments.
-Loved Gen. Ross in this issue. Bout time he's being played as a serious military man and not some lunatic.
-The interaction between Hand and Ross is great. I can't wait to see how their relationship further develops down the line.
-I appreciate the fact this book is looking at things in the Marvel Universe from a more baseline human perspective. It's something that is often missing.
-Des gets big kudos from me for using an event from the X-Line as an impetus to this title. Interconnectivity will always earn my readership.
-I like how not all the cards were laid on the table in the first issue and we were given something to come back for.

The thing I liked about the idea to begin with is that Ross has very little to do with the Hulk. Just seperating him from the character that has almost defined him and driven his actions and his personality has done a lot to improve on the General.

Thanks for taking the time to read Brent. You've hit the idea behind this title on the head - how to "normal" military deal with the Marvel Universe. Ross will stay in the foreground, but his team will also play a major part. The next issue should be with Erik before the end of next week, and some more details will start to come into focus - including the major threat for the run.
Thanks again.

Great issue Des. My only issue is a personal one- Victoria Hand is a Secret Avengers dib, and I think you might have meant Maya Hansen.
Otherwise, really solid stuff, and I'm looking forward to where it's going!

Oh, and thanks for using an Uncanny X-Men event to kick this sucker off! :-)

Well I'm interested to see who that person is? But yea I'm most interested in the growth and development of Thunderbolt Ross. I really see this title as having the potential of turning that guy into one of the pillars of the MA Universe.
