I see these various plot threads beginning to converge on one another in this title. It seems to be the same kind of thing that Stormrage pointed out he saw in X-Force. There are all these problems brewing and they all seem to be converging into one very big problem. I'm looking forward to that.
The U.N. demanding The High Evolutionary to be more open with his country reminds me of the USA and the pressure they put on Iraq to be a more open country. So I just know this isn't going to end well. Especially with Crystal being kind of gung ho for war. What happened to evolve her from this pretty timid royal to this now grizzled diplomat?

I guess I never really thought of the Evolutionary thing that way, but there are indeed some parallels. As for Crystal becoming more grizzled, I never really brought any member of the Inhuman royal family as being innocent and sweet. Just look at royal families throughout history. These are some ruthless, cutthroat people. So I figured I'd just try to portray her more accurately, but make it more of an evolution instead of just this sudden shift.

Well, I'm enjoying the characterization thus far. Just don't let her go too far into ruthless territory and start to become a villian.

Crystal's growing pragmatism is an evolution I like as well. Even though she was always a royal Inhuman, her role in that court was never as important as say Medusa. Now in X-Factor, she's at a place where she probably understands the burdens of her sister a great deal more. And I think another part of it is that she's a lioness protecting her cub. Her child has been threatened in the past and Crystal wants to make sure that never happens again. So I think its a logical growth.

Crystal will not be crossing that line into villian-dom, but she will do things that make people question her. I want to show that being a politician is not an easy thing and as stormrage said, she's forced to make alot of pragmatic choices. And sometimes her choices may seem harsh, but they're coming from a good place. She wants to ultimately protect her child and secure a decent future for her. What parent wouldn't fight tooth and nail for that?

That's where you'll see some major developments take place.
