Things I liked:
*Colonel America is a pretty cool character. Hope he makes it through what happened to him in issue 2, but I can't see how.
*Battlestar seems to be the moral center of this group. I like that. I just hope he gets expanded beyond the sidekick role he's normally in.
*Bloodscream is pretty cool in these first two issues. I like how he's shown to not be a pushover. There's almost a horror movie vibe to him in these first two issues.
*I like how the roster is brimming over with power but its still a respectable squad. I think that'll make it easier to have your stories be compelling.
Things I would like to see worked on:
*The details in these issues are kind of skimpy. Looking at the issue online, you don't see many paragraphs extend beyond a single line. I think some more in-depth narrative work could help with that.
*Some explanation of HAMMER. It's obviously different in this world from regular Marvel so I think it shouldn't have been name dropped without some proper explanation of it.

Yeah, we really wanted to do something different with HAMMER here. Somehow, the connection was made that if we're trying to make the CSA more of a presence for the US (as SHIELD as Int'l and shouldn't nor wouldn't be as involved in the affairs on any single country let alone as heavily as they seem to be in the US) then making HAMMER more of the military arm of the CSA just seemed to fit.
