So I don't think I introduced myself.
I'm Anthony and I'm the new writer of the Spin off Superhero tome that is Yellojacket.
I'm taking Hank Pym (and supporting cast) through a number of mad cap science based adventure fun!
Think Buck Rogers, Pulp Sci-Fi mixed in with Fringe, Doctor Who, X-Files with a good old dusting of Silver and Bronze age superhero goodness and you'll be in the mindset I am for this.
So I just thought I'd introduce this all and ask you to pop on by for a read when it goes up.
Any Questions you'd like to ask?
Oh I'll ask one two, anything in particular you guys would like to see/ see dealt with?

After reading #1 I think it's exactly what I'd like to see. Just high concept weirdness that taps into that sense of Adventure and Unknown that Marvel's lacked for some time. I'd like to see Pym in other realms of reality, seeing shit that nobody else has this side of Reed Richards. He's a super smart dude. I didn't see Reed come up with the Richards Particles, did I? No, I saw Hank come up with the Pym Particles. That means somebody ELSE in the Marvel Universe invented something! So, I'd really like to see new inventions and stuff.
There's so many places this title can go that few others can, so I'd like to see that. Only the F4 could venture into those same places. And if Jan's around...I wouldn't mind seeing that whole rocky relationship shit ignored. Give them a fresh start and some happiness. I don't know why anybody in Marvel isn't allowed to just be happy anymore. Civil War broke up Reed and Sue, Joey Q broke up Peter and MJ, Bendis can't let the whole Hank beatdown on Jan go away, T'Challa and Storm got married then T'Challa blown the fuck up.
There's no real talent in self-pity and wallowing. There's no talent in constently making people sad. Sad should be a powerful thing, not a crutch. So, yeah. A happy Hank is a good Hank in my opinion.

Thanks very much Erik.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. You nailed all of the stuff I was going for, so I'm pleased all of that comes over well.
I do enjoy the madcap superhero stuff so it's great to be able to get some of it down. Everyone has had a concept which they thought was cool but had no way possible of fitting it into an arc or an issue in any normal or sensible way..this is why I have Pym!
I'll also see what I can do about happiness.

I don't think it should be that hard to make the guy happy. All he needs is to do is stare into a microscope and do scientific adventures. I think if you keep him on the track he is now, he'll be all the man he needs to be. 'Cause it also doesn't seem like anybody even enjoys what they do anymore, either. Like superheroing is a major inconvenience. So just having a person enjoying what he does is a key to happiness without having to rely on using a girl as that key.
