I ask because I loved his work on Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, and Superman, Joker, and the first volume of Loveless. And I was wondering has he done anything pre-Vertigo that has been collected aside from his Marvel stuff? Was his Marvel work any good?

I loved his Hulk mini with Corben- Banner. One of the best Hulk stories I've ever read.

I loved his Hulk mini with Corben- Banner. One of the best Hulk stories I've ever read. Corben's art was awesome. That was when Marvel first did the digital comics. I never got to read the full story, but I did read some of the story via their at the time free service. I need to track the book down.

I thought it summed it up perfectly. Luthor is a monster, and Azzarello understands monsters, which is why I love his work.

100 Bullets is great, at least for the first nine books. I haven't had a chance to pick up any of the other trades. And even though most people don't like it, I enjoyed his work on Superman, Batman and Cage. His Wikipedia page has a bibliography: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Azzarello#Bibliography

His Wikipedia page has a bibliography: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Azzarello#BibliographyHis Superman was perfect until I read the second volume, but then I realized that's how he saw the character, and how he felt other people would see him too. Thanks for the link. It helps me track down all of his work
